Our client is a multi-national business looking for an extremely high calibre M&A Manager to join their Swiss Head Office. This role offers strong progression through the M&A team as well as the opportunity to move into the business.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential M&A projects
  • Train and develop junior team members
  • Lead buy side and sell side deal execution, including deal negotiations
  • Act as internal advisor to divisions and establish best practices for M&A throughout the group
  • Interact with financial advisors, shareholders, potential investors, as well as various other stakeholders
  • Participate in the dialogue shaping the strategy and support top management in important strategic and financial decisions
  • To be able to work to deadlines with minimum supervision and to use initiative
  • Working effectively with all levels of management and staff

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • 6-10 years M&A/Corporate Development Experience within a Corporate Environment
  • Advanced analytical, quantitative and financial modelling skills, ideally acquired in the energy sector
  • Strong deal track record and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in English, German as additional language is an advantage
  • Willingness to Travel for Work
  • A valid work permit for Switzerland or EU/EFTA citizenship
