Our client is a Private Equity-backed biotech business looking for an extremely high calibre Analyst to join their Group Projects function. The role offers a lot of variety, breadth of exposure, and significant scope for personal and professional development.

The successful applicant will work closely with a variety of Group teams, divisional teams, and senior directors, to deliver core Group projects that are driving enhancements and new capabilities across the Group.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Work with the senior leadership and other team members in the following areas:

  • Formulation of business strategy
  • Investigation and analysis of alternative strategic options, both organic and inorganic
  • Liaison with current and prospective new investors (debt and equity)
  • Liaison with third party advisers such as Banks and Lawyers
  • Co-ordination of new strategic initiatives with other internal teams and external counter-parties
  • Research and development of strategic initiatives
  • Project management strategic projects (new initiatives / capital raising)
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on strategic projects
  • Support development of the business plan
  • Preparation of financial analysis of business opportunities and supporting presentations / reports
  • Project management ideally including liaison with external counterparties
  • Strategy consulting or demonstrable background in strategic thinking is desirable

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Five plus years of strategy experience within Financial Services or Insurance gained at a consulting company or an in-house role
  • Good communication skills and ability to present to senior colleagues
  • Project management, including management of key internal stakeholders
  • Ability to research and develop thinking which can be presented in focused power point or word reports
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail

Salary, Benefits & Duration:

Salary: Around £80,000 – £95,000 + benefits
Duration: Permanent
