CHARLES PHIPPS ~ DIRECTOR

Corporate Development & EU

Charles co-founded PCR in March 2014 and has succeeded in building a market leading boutique recruitment firm. He looks after the market leading Strategy, Transformation and Corporate Development arena. He has built a team of top level professionals who have an unrivalled attention to detail and high calibre delivery in the UK and internationally.

Charles has successfully worked within the corporate development space for over 10 years with large corporates and PE owned businesses across the globe.

In his minimal spare time Charles likes to spend time with his family, follow his beloved Chelsea and keeps fit by playing tennis, going to the gym and running.

GILES CAMERON ~ DIRECTOR

Strategy, Transformation & Finance Leadership

With over 20 years senior recruitment experience in both the UK and Overseas Giles co-founded PCR in 2014 on the principle of the business being the go-to trusted recruitment partner for the most progressive candidates and clients within the Finance, Strategy and M&A arena. Currently Giles supports key projects and roles within Finance Leadership and Strategy as well as ensuring that the business meets the highest delivery standards to candidates and clients in the industry.

Outside of work Giles can be found either on the golf course, trail running, cycling, as well as spending valuable time with his family and dog. Liverpool’s more recent resurgence to glory has also been something that he has been keen to remind the rest of the office about.

SCOTT DARBY ~ DIRECTOR

Finance

Scott joined Phipps Cameron in 2015 to grow the Finance offering within the Retail & FMCG sectors, focusing on placing Senior Qualified professionals. Scott has quickly progressed through the business and is now the Head of our Finance Leadership division, which is a multi sector and geographical focused team. Scott also overses the Executive Search offering for PCR, partnering with various C-suites to identify the right talent.

Outside of work you are likely to find Scott on a Golf course, although you may have to look in the woods rather than on the fairway to find him. However, he plays off a solid 8 Handicap!

GEORGE RAW ~ DIRECTOR

Strategic Development

As Director of Strategic Development George leads client relations, growing our customer base across the globe. Focused on PE & VC relationships, helping to ensure PCR are providing the best in industry services across all industries.

George has an extensive background in business development having worked with global conglomerates right through to building start-ups. Over the years he has covered an extensive number of industries and works closely with C suite, he is also Partner at a small cap VC fund and owns a few other businesses which compliment his network and expertise.

George has re-joined PCR (having joined many years ago as a graduate in the M&A/Corp Dev team!) after growing several recruitment businesses with global expansion and client development.

George is a county boy living in the city, he loves shooting, sailing, fishing, and many other countryside activities. Either found in one of his members clubs or in a country pub.

VICTORIA WARD

Head of CFO & PE Finance Leadership

Victoria is an executive level recruiter with 15 years’ experience specialising in Finance, Digital and Operational leadership roles.

Victoria graduated with a degree in Physics from the University of Oxford. She began her career in recruitment with a leading FTSE 250 specialist recruitment agency where she managed finance recruitment teams before moving across to their Executive Search division.

In her spare time Victoria is placing Solar Panels on the roofs of various building around London and is on the Board of Community Energy London.

JORDAN DERBYSHIRE

Head of Corporate Development

Jordan joined Phipps Cameron in 2019 with 5 years prior recruitment experience. Jordans previous role involved building a high performing and successful Emerging Technologies focused desk whilst growing a large team. Jordan knows nothing can lack in rigour with each client. Delivering excellence on each mandate is paramount. Jordan focuses exclusively on Head of Corporate Development / M&A – UK&I, EMEA & NA.

Outside of the office Jordan had played semi-professional cricket before graduating to golf with much less skill. Supporting Liverpool for Jordan has been far easier in recent years much to the dissapointment of the office.

STEVE CLARKE

Head of Interim

Steve has over 15 years of experience recruiting senior corporate leaders, predominantly within Finance, for a wide variety of sectors. He has worked in London as well as the middle east and prides himself of delivering the highest possible levels of service with minimum fuss. His recruitment style is suited to Interim as he works quickly and efficiently, providing solutions through consultation based on a thorough understanding of need. Steve leads our Interim offering across PCR specialisms of Financial Leadership, Transformation, Strategy and M&A.

To wind down, Steve’s main hobby is food! As a devout foodie, his Saturday mornings are often spent in farmers markets, butchers or fishmongers (if his two young daughters give him the time off). His other passions are Liverpool FC, and occasional attempts at Golf.

DAVID HANISON

Head of PE CFO

David is a specialist CFO recruiter within the PE space with over 20 years’ experience working with market-leading private-equity firms, VC funds, private companies, and listed businesses. He originally trained at PwC as a chartered accountant.

He joined PCR at an exciting time and will drive the growth of the CFO practice to complement the exceptional footprint PCR have made within M&A, Strategy , Corporate Development and Transformation.

David loves most sports, plays a competitive weekly game of 5-a-side football and is a staunch supporter of Arsenal FC. He enjoys spending quality time with family and friends at weekends.

SOPHIE ALLISON

Business Manager

Sophie has over 8 years of experience recruiting contractors across finance and transformation projects for a wide variety of sectors. She started her career within a Global FTSE 250 recruitment firm and has a vast amount of experience within the London/South regions. Sophie prides herself on being consultative and adding value to both clients and candidates and due to this has built-up incredibly strong relationships within the industry. She works efficiently and at speed to help clients fill roles ahead of the required timeframe and is extremely pro-actively to ensure this happens.

In her spare time Sophie enjoys spending time with her pride and joy Milo, her cockapoo. When she’s not chasing Milo around the house then Sophie enjoys the gym, reading and exploring new restaurants.

WILL MACDONALD

Business Manager

Will has 4 years’ recruitment experience specialising in HR hires from junior to senior level positions across a variety of clients in both the private and public sector. Will also previously worked in Australia as a Marketing Assistant for a year in 2015-16 for a transport and logistics company as part of his 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management.

Will enjoys going to the gym, and playing rugby and football. Will is a huge Newcastle United fan, which is where he was born.

KIERAN PRICE

Business Manager

Kieran obtained a BSc in Politics and Economics from the University of Reading. Following his graduation he gained over 18 months experience as a Recruitment Consultant working with Management Consultancies in the Energy sector. He has joined Phipps Cameron’s Europe division and will focus on Senior hires within Corporate Development and M&A.

Outside of the office, Kieran supports his home town team of Shrewsbury Town FC and enjoys going to the gym.

RIKESH MEHTA

Business Manager – Finance Leadership Recruitment

Rikesh is an experienced senior level recruiter with 11 years’ experience specialising in recruiting qualified finance professionals across commerce & industry clients. Through time he has built a high-calibre network of candidates and clients alike and prides himself on providing them with a fair, consultative and honest approach.

When not recruiting, Rikesh can be found in the kitchen, cooking new and exciting recipes he has learnt. He loves spending quality time with his young family, following his beloved Arsenal and hopes to one day battle it out in the MasterChef kitchen!

JEN TALBOTT – WHITE

Corporate Development Senior Consultant

Jen is a Senior Consultant in the Corporate Development team, responsible for finding the best M&A talent for PE-backed TMT businesses.  This dovetails with her previous recruitment experience, over eight years’ delivering outstanding business support candidates within the private equity/alternatives space.  She works with detail and focus, with client service (company and candidate) as her modus operandi.

As an investment banking EA and a Special Needs teacher in previous lives, Jen brings broad life experience to her work, and a level of EQ that allows her to make excellent culture fits in her searches.

Jen has a General Arts Degree from the University of Edinburgh.  For fun, she loves watching live sport (almost any, with first preference being cricket), and discovering new places to eat and drink in London (and beyond) with her husband, daughter, and miniature dachshund, Wolfgang.

ORAN KELLY

Manager Consultant

Oran joined the business as a Senior Consultant in 2020 to focus on senior hires within strategy. He joined with 5 years experience in the recruitment industry where he has built teams and delivered a range of senior hire placements.

When not recruiting, Oran enjoys his time cooking for friends, spending time in a pub garden and keeping fit in the gym and on the tennis court.

JAKE BUSH

Senior Consultant

Jake joined Phipps Cameron as a Resourcer in 2016 and has since progressed through to Senior Consultant within the Finance team. He’s now responsible for the company’s Finance offering into Industrial and Service-based businesses with a core interest in the Property sector. Jake predominantly focusses on the UK market but also has a growing network across Europe.

Outside of the office Jake is a keen sportsman and is a goalkeeper for his local town football club. When not playing you’ll likely find him either socialising with friends, at a pub quiz, or at the Emirates watching his beloved Arsenal FC.

KIERAN CLYDE

Senior Consultant

Kieran has 3 years’ experience within recruitment where he has mainly focused on contract and permanent hires within financial services, working extensively with Tier 1 banks to boutique investment managers. He has joined Phipps Cameron where he will focus on senior and mid-level hires within Corporate Development and M&A with a particular focus on financial services.

Outside of recruitment, Kieran enjoys watching and playing football (Arsenal), rugby (Scotland) and tennis. When not watching or playing sports you can find him in the pub with friends or relaxing with his miniature wire haired dachshund, Nora.

EMMANUELLE TANCRED

M&A and Strategy Consultant

Emmanuelle joined the business in July 2022 into the M&A team on the ESG and Consumer desk with a remit across Europe and the US. She has 3 years’ experience in recruitment previously specialising in the FMCG sector focusing on permanent hires. Whilst receiving her 4 year bachelor’s degree in Psychology she also took a year to work internally as a recruiter with a management consultancy company in Houston, TX.

Outside of work, Emmanuelle is a lover of plants and gardening, and going skiing and sailing. When not enjoying hobbies, she’s spending time with friends and family!

TALIA NOACH

Strategy Consultant

Talia graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a Masters in Psychology. Before joining Phipps Cameron, she specialized in the direct recruitment of actuaries and risk management professionals within insurance. She joined Phipps Cameron in 2022 as a consultant, where she focuses on strategy positions across a range of different sectors.

Outside of work, Talia enjoys attending live music events, keeping up with the latest psychological documentaries and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

FIONA HUGHES

Consultant

Fiona Joined the Business in September 2022 as a Consultant for Interim Finance. She recently moved from Dublin, Ireland and has since worked in Recruitment within the finance sector mainly focusing on contract roles. Before this she started her recruitment career working with start-up cyber security companies across the UK & USA.

Outside of recruitment, Fiona enjoys running and walking. She recently completed the hackney half marathon and is part of a tag-rugby team. Outside of this she is out and about with friends.

ANDRE LEITAO

Consultant

Andre joined Phipps Cameron’s corporate development team, armed with his ability to work at serious pace under pressure. He joined with over a year experience in the recruitment industry where he has built interim and permanent teams ranging from mid to senior positions.

When not recruiting, Andre enjoys his time going out with friends, watching Arsenal, keeping fit in the gym and in the boxing ring.

ELLIE BLACKHURST

Consultant

Ellie has 1 year of experience within Financial Services recruitment, where she focused on Investment Banking hiring for the US market. Prior to this she spent two years working at American Express after graduating from the University of Southampton with a Business Marketing degree.

She has now joined Phipps Cameron where she will be working within the Corporate Development and M&A team.

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, socialising with friends and family and keeping fit in the gym!

JONAS WOLFFHEIM

Recruitment Consultant

Jonas joined the company in 2022 after receiving his bachelor’s degree in business psychology this year. He did spend time in a recruitment company before as a working student for six months. Now, Jonas wants to help to grow the new office of Phipps Cameron Recruitment in Hamburg, Germany.

Outside of work, Jonas loves to travel, mostly to Spain to support his favourite football club Atletico Madrid.

TRACEY SURMON

Business and Revenue Manager

Tracey joined the PCR Team in February 2022 as a Business and Revenue Manager. Prior to this she was a Business Manager working in the Education Sector with over 10 years’ experience in Finance, HR, H&S and Premises Management and also brings extensive administrative experience gained in a variety of sectors to her role.

In her spare time, Tracey is a keen tennis player and enjoys spending time with her four children. Having moved to the UK in 2001, she now lives in Kent.

CORINNA TAYLOR

Office Manager/EA

Corinna has many years of experience in the global advertising world with roles including Training Director for EMEA and Global Conference Organiser. Before joining the PCR Team her roles included HR, Data Protection and Office Administration in the Education Sector. She joins the PCR Team as Office Manager, DPO and EA to Charles and Giles.

In her spare time Corinna can be found trawling old bookshops, independent bookshops, regular bookshops! She loves F1, the theatre, the cinema, live music, travelling, visiting family in Ireland, and most of all, spending time with her family.

MICHAELA ASARE

HR Lead

Michaela graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BA(Hons) in International Relations with Political Science. After obtaining her degree, she then went onto complete her CIPD in pursuit of a career in Human Resources. In March 2021, she joined the PCR team as a Recruitment and Operations Administrator to support the smooth running of our company.

Outside of work, Michaela enjoys travelling abroad, loves fashion and socialising with friends over dinner.

VICKY FOSTER

Talent Acquisitions and Development Manager

Vicky joined PCR in March 2022 to help with all internal recruitment and to work closely with all of the new and existing staff, to ensure that all training and development requirements are fulfilled for each individual.

In her spare time Vicky likes to play netball, ski, sew, and to make clothes for herself and for babies and children (new lockdown hobby). When she’s not doing that, she devotes her time to her two little boys, Teddy & Bertie and their French Bulldog Pablo, and of course her partner.

CHRIS SPINKS

Finance Manager

Chris joined the PCR team in November 2019. Chris is a qualified accountant with many years’ experience of working in organisations ranging from small family businesses to large multinational companies, mainly in the biotech and retail sectors.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, walking (especially exploring new footpaths with his dog), mountain biking (well, small hill biking as he lives in Cambridge) and playing an occasional game of tennis. He is also a fair-weather Leeds United supporter.

ANITA TANSLEY

Accounts Assistant

Anita joined the PCR Team in June 2022 as a Finance Assistant. Over the last 8 years she has held similar roles within the Education Sector, working in Finance, HR and Admin. This followed a career as a Senior Secretary for one of the top four banks.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys exercise classes, swimming and walking. Gardening is her time for relaxation.

CLAUDIA FUNG

Marketing Assistant

After graduating from Stirling University with a BSc Management degree, Claudia embarked upon a Marketing career in retail for two years. In 2020, She joined Phipps Cameron as their Marketing Assistant to manage their website and social media.

Outside of work, Claudia enjoys travelling with her husband, socialising with friends over brunch and singing.
