CHARLES PHIPPS ~ DIRECTOR

Corporate Development & EU

Charles co-founded PCR in March 2014 and has succeeded in building a market leading boutique recruitment firm. He looks after the market leading Strategy, Transformation and Corporate Development arena. He has built a team of top level professionals who have an unrivalled attention to detail and high calibre delivery in the UK and internationally.

Charles has successfully worked within the corporate development space for over 10 years with large corporates and PE owned businesses across the globe.

In his minimal spare time Charles likes to spend time with his family, follow his beloved Chelsea and keeps fit by playing tennis, going to the gym and running.

GILES CAMERON ~ DIRECTOR

Strategy, Transformation & Finance Leadership

With over 20 years senior recruitment experience in both the UK and Overseas Giles co-founded PCR in 2014 on the principle of the business being the go-to trusted recruitment partner for the most progressive candidates and clients within the Finance, Strategy and M&A arena. Currently Giles supports key projects and roles within Finance Leadership and Strategy as well as ensuring that the business meets the highest delivery standards to candidates and clients in the industry.

Outside of work Giles can be found either on the golf course, trail running, cycling, as well as spending valuable time with his family and dog. Liverpool’s more recent resurgence to glory has also been something that he has been keen to remind the rest of the office about.

JOHN DUNAWAY

Managing Director

Having started in recruitment over 20 years ago, John has acquired diverse and valuable experience in a number of markets and environments. Having operated at Exec level in PLC’s and worked in M&A and PE environments, John is well versed in the dynamics of the Phipps Cameron field of play. John leads the entire UK operation, with a strong focus on getting the best out of our teams, to ensure world class service and delivery to our customers.

When he’s not working, John enjoys time with the family (and his beloved dog Bertie) on the South Coast where they live. He’s into music, food, socializing and anything active or outdoors. His big passion is for hiking and mountaineering in the alps.

JORDAN DERBYSHIRE – ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Head of Europe – Hamburg

Jordan joined Phipps Cameron in 2019 with 5 years prior recruitment experience. Jordans previous role involved building a high performing and successful Emerging Technologies focused desk whilst growing a large team. Jordan knows nothing can lack in rigour with each client. Delivering excellence on each mandate is paramount. Jordan focuses exclusively on Head of Corporate Development / M&A – UK&I, EMEA & NA.

Outside of the office Jordan had played semi-professional cricket before graduating to golf with much less skill. Supporting Liverpool for Jordan has been far easier in recent years much to the dissapointment of the office.

GEORGE RAW ~ DIRECTOR

Strategic Development

As Director of Strategic Development George leads client relations, growing our customer base across the globe. Focused on PE & VC relationships, helping to ensure PCR are providing the best in industry services across all industries.

George has an extensive background in business development having worked with global conglomerates right through to building start-ups. Over the years he has covered an extensive number of industries and works closely with C suite, he is also Partner at a small cap VC fund and owns a few other businesses which compliment his network and expertise.

George has re-joined PCR (having joined many years ago as a graduate in the M&A/Corp Dev team!) after growing several recruitment businesses with global expansion and client development.

George is a county boy living in the city, he loves shooting, sailing, fishing, and many other countryside activities. Either found in one of his members clubs or in a country pub.

KIERAN CLYDE – ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

CFO and Finance Leadership

Kieran leads senior searches across Financial Services, Europe-wide, and also oversees all searches at mid and junior level. His in-depth understanding of the needs and challenges of the FS subsectors allows him to ensure search execution is first-class.

He has a background in recruitment within Tier 1 investment banks and boutique investment managers.

Kieran’s an avid football and rugby fan (Arsenal / Scotland), and a miniature wire-haired dachshund owner (Nora).

TRISH DAVIS

Head of Operations

Trish has taken on the role of Head of Operations at Phipps Cameron, where her focus will be on spearheading crucial sales enablement strategies and enhancing operational excellence within the organization.

With a background of 7 years in diverse operational roles in recruitment and the hypergrowth start-up industry, she has gained valuable experience at Dartmouth Partners, WeWork, and Gorillas. Trish is dedicated to optimizing efficiency and fostering a motivating team environment.

She shares nationalities between the Philippines and South Africa (a staunch Springboks supporter) and enjoys travelling the world.

JEN TALBOTT – WHITE

Division Manager – Corporate Development, TMT Lead

Jen leads TMT corporate development in the UK, Europe and US, and brings nearly a decade of recruitment experience.

Previously, she worked within the private equity/alternatives space, headhunting elite support and operations professionals. Jen has a General MA from the University of Edinburgh, and was a Special Needs teacher in a former walk of life.

For fun, she watches as much live cricket as she can, and spends quality time with her family including miniature dachshund, Wolfgang.

SOPHIE ALLISON

Business Manager – Interim

Sophie has over 8 years of experience recruiting contractors across finance and transformation projects for a wide variety of sectors. She started her career within a Global FTSE 250 recruitment firm and has a vast amount of experience within the London/South regions. Sophie prides herself on being consultative and adding value to both clients and candidates and due to this has built-up incredibly strong relationships within the industry. She works efficiently and at speed to help clients fill roles ahead of the required timeframe and is extremely pro-actively to ensure this happens.

In her spare time Sophie enjoys spending time with her pride and joy Milo, her cockapoo. When she’s not chasing Milo around the house then Sophie enjoys the gym, reading and exploring new restaurants.

TOM GILCHRIST

Business Manager – Interim

Tom has over 8 years of experience in the recruitment industry. Starting out at a global FTSE 250 firm, Tom has covered multiple disciplines including technical, operational, HR, Tech & Data, and more recently the executive interim space for technology. He has a passion for delivering a strategic and consultative service for his clients at the senior lend of the market, particularly for Private Equity.

His approach is a combination of consultative and industry knowledge-based insight with a rapid pace.

He enjoys developing relationships at c suite, and c suite minus 1 and 2, to offer impact-based value through executive interim placements for complex, challenging and fast paced client mandates for private equity and listed industry, particularly around major change that includes divestments and carve outs.

In his spare time Tom’s focus is on not wasting it!

This sees him doing regular activities with his son, stepdaughter and partner, ranging from walks, going to festivals, sporting events, holidays and everything in between – all with friends and family!

BRIAN MONTEITH

Business Manager – Interim

Having started in interim recruitment over 8 years ago, Brian has acquired diverse and valuable experience in recruiting contractors in a number of corporate markets and environments. Brian specialises in truly understanding business requirements to ensure successful outcomes, and prides himself on being consultative and adding value to both clients and candidates. Brian leads our interim Corporate Development/M&A practice partnering with private equity, listed and corporate businesses.

Outside of the office Brian enjoys keeping fit at various fitness classes and is an avid traveller – he enjoys experiencing different cultures and new cuisines. He has spent time travelling through Europe, Australia, Africa, America, and Asia.

JAMES WOOD

Business Manager – Finance Leadership

Meet James, an accomplished senior-level recruiter boasting an 8-year track record, specialising in the recruitment of senior finance professionals for esteemed industry clients. Throughout his career, James has excelled in establishing a thriving Senior Finance Midlands desk and spearheading a high-performance commerce & industry finance recruitment team. With a focus on senior finance hires within PE-backed businesses, James understands the great importance of matching high excellence PE business with best in class finance talent.

An avid explorer, James enjoys immersing himself in diverse cultures and new landscapes during his travels. James enjoys running, having completed several marathons and an ultra marathon.

JACK SYRED

Business Manager – Interim Strategy & Transformation

Spent over a decade in recruitment, Jack specialises in truly understanding business requirements to ensure successful outcomes. He’s spent much of his career partnering with global corporates, partnerships and PE-backed firms with a new vision to support strategy and transformation. Jack leads our interim Strategy & Transformation practice partnering with private equity, listed and corporate businesses to deliver interim strategists, transformation leadership and programme teams to deliver top line growth, cost out and restructuring initiatives.

Outside of work, Jack lives with his wife and young daughter in Sussex. He spends much of his time tinkering with cars, playing tennis, exercising and loves to socialise.

MICHELE VINCIGUERRA

Business Manager – Strategy & Transformation

Target-driven and client-focused senior recruitment professional with proven success recruiting high-calibre staff using a mix of recruiting strategies, while building robust candidate pipelines during 13 years’ rapid progression at a global consulting and life sciences recruitment firm. Proactively gathered, analysed and assimilated quantitative /qualitative data to facilitate problem solving and recruitment of hard-to-find technical skill sets.

In his spare time, Michele loves travelling around the world, playing tennis and practising yoga.

TIM BAKER

Business Manager – Corporate Development, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare Lead

Tim focuses on Corporate Development searches within the UK and European Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare markets.

Tim couples a Bachelors degree in Neuroscience and half a decade of headhunting to bring a unique perspective to this critical global market for Phipps Cameron. Having previously partnered best-in-class Management Consulting and Private Equity firms on global C-Suite and Partner level searches, Tim operates naturally at senior level, with superlative results.

Outside of the office Tim is found looking for great dining spots, and most enjoys travelling internationally to find these! He is a keen rugby player for his local side, Old Tiffinians RFC, and a loyal Arsenal supporter.

JOSHUA ELIAS

Business Manager – Corporate Development, Sector Generalist for US

Josh is part of our dedicated North American corporate development team, which partners portcos and global corporates in hiring in-house M&A talent.

Josh has a decade of search experience, and is highly skilled at consultative business problem-solving.  His previous sector coverage includes Financial Services, TMT particularly software and SaaS, IT and IT Services, Business Services and Consultancy – hiring for PE and VC-backed businesses.  He will be a cross-sector expert for US searches.

Josh is a girl dad, hugely enjoying the busy life that comes with a young daughter. In his spare time, he is into fitness, in particular cycling, and travelling.

KWASI ADOMAKOH

Business Manager – Finance Leadership

Kwasi is an established finance leadership recruiter and has been in the industry since 2015. He brings a wealth of experience of recruiting for various private equity backed and corporate companies.

Kwasi is passionate about delivering a high quality level of service to both candidate and clients, ensuring the full needs are met on both sides. He will be focusing his time split across TMT and Professional Services.

TALIA NOACH

Senior Consultant – Corporate Development, Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare

Talia leads corporate development searches within UK and European Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare markets. Her extensive network and keen understanding of the quality of candidate required for these verticals allows her to deliver searches with the utmost attention to detail.

She has a background in risk management and actuarial headhunting, and graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a Masters in Psychology.

At weekends, Talia hunts out the best live music events, psychological documentaries and new recipes she can find.

JACK ANTONIADES

Senior Consultant – Finance Leadership

Jack has joined Phipps Cameron as a Senior Consultant, bringing with him 7 years experience in recruiting Finance positions across the Tech, Media and Telco sectors, predominantly for UK based start-ups and scale-ups. Jack has also had a focus on championing DEI policy, both externally in supporting Neurodiverse job seekers though channels he helped build, and with supporting individual clients on the education piece. Efficiency and quality are at the core of his process.

Outside of work Jack is sociable and a keen creative. You can often find him attending concerts and gigs, or making music and art with friends, but typically relaxing in a beer garden (weather permitting).

DAN GRAY

Senior Consultant – Private Equity CFO

Dan has over 10 years’ experience recruiting into Financial Services organisations of all shapes and sizes from FTSE 100 organisations through to venture backed start-ups. He has joined Phipps Cameron to lead the PE CFO practice working across the UK.

Dan prides himself on the level of service he provides to both his clients and his candidates; working hard to ensure the best outcome for all parties whilst maintaining an honest, friendly, and professional approach.

When not at work Dan can be found on the golf course, exercising, socialising with friends & family, or visiting bars and restaurants in the London and Hertfordshire areas.

JONAS WOLFFHEIM

Senior Consultant – CFO (DACH) – Hamburg

Jonas joined the company in 2022 after receiving his bachelor’s degree in business psychology this year. He did spend time in a recruitment company before as a working student for six months. Now, Jonas wants to help to grow the new office of Phipps Cameron Recruitment in Hamburg, Germany.

Outside of work, Jonas loves to travel, mostly to Spain to support his favourite football club Atletico Madrid.

ELLIE BLACKHURST

Senior Consultant – Corporate Development, Retail, Consumer & Leisure

Ellie works in Retail, Consumer and Leisure markets within the corporate development team, networking with PE-backed businesses and ambitious corporates alike.

Ellie has a background in Financial Services recruitment within international markets, and two years on the corporate side at AMEX. She read Business Marketing at the University of Southampton.

Outside of work, Ellie enjoys planning city breaks or travelling to visit family, socialising with friends and always finds time for the gym.

FIONA HUGHES

Consultant – Interim

Fiona Joined the Business in September 2022 as a Consultant for Interim Finance. She recently moved from Dublin, Ireland and has since worked in Recruitment within the finance sector mainly focusing on contract roles. Before this she started her recruitment career working with start-up cyber security companies across the UK & USA.

Outside of recruitment, Fiona enjoys running and walking. She recently completed the hackney half marathon and is part of a tag-rugby team. Outside of this she is out and about with friends.

ANDRE LEITAO

Consultant – Corporate Development, TMT & Business Services

Andre leads corporate development searches in TMT and Business Services at upper, mid and junior level.

Having previously recruited both interim and permanent roles within IT and Change / Transformation, he is characterised by his ability to deliver excellent candidate profiles at pace.

During his downtime, Andre enjoys time in the amateur boxing ring, visiting his native Lisbon, and seeking out the best ramen London has to offer.

BILLY SLIM

Consultant – Corporate Development, Sector Generalist for UK

Billy is a cross-sector generalist in the corporate development team, delivering excellence on searches at upper, mid and junior level. He supports the sector leads and, thusly, has a broad and varied network.

He has Financial Services recruitment experience, hiring for investment banking risk and credit teams. A trained musician, Billy studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music; he has a BA in Music Business and Innovation.

Recreationally, Billy is a drummer in a band, and enjoys live music of a variety of genres. Pub quizzes and military history literature are also firm favorites.

Ana joined Phipps Cameron’s European office in Hamburg in May with more than 5 years of experience in recruiting. After obtaining a Diploma in Social and political sciences in 2018, she became involved in the Human Resource field.

Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring new cities, cooking, and spending her free time with family and friends. Ana also watches rugby from time to time and supports the Georgian national rugby team.

ONAM AGARWAL

Consultant – Finance Leadership (DACH) Hamburg

Onam joined in 2023 upon successfully completing her Master of Science in Management. She brings her international experience and knowledge as a valuable asset from the realms of Financial Services, Human Resources, Logistics and Marketing to her role as a Recruitment Consultant.

Outside of work, she enjoys attending various dance workshops and body combat classes at the gym. You can often find her in the kitchen cooking her favourite cuisine from all around the world, seeking new destinations to explore with her friends or enjoying a little friendly competition on the bowling lanes.

DANIEL GLEED

Consultant – Corporate Development, Sector Generalist for US

Daniel is dedicated to North American corporate development searches, and is a cross-sector generalist.

He brings over five years working exclusively in US markets, meeting the high standards of ambitious international businesses, including roles within corporate development, strategy, transformation and finance.

Outside of work, Daniel plays as much golf as fits around his schedule as an Arsenal season ticket holder.

He’s a keen rugby player, and spends the rest of his free time either perfecting a new, ambitious recipe or with family in Gloucestershire.

LEWIS HUTCHINSON

Consultant – Interim CFO (DACH) – Hamburg

Lewis joined Phipps Cameron’s Hamburg office in 2023 with a year’s experience in accountancy recruitment. He was previously a Captain in the British Army where he served in the Intelligence Corps, after which he moved to Germany to be with his wife Marleen. Lewis’ focus is on interim CFO positions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland where he will be contributing to the Europe Division’s growth.

Outside of work, Lewis enjoys keeping fit and being out in nature with his dog, a rescued stray called Dobby. He is a Newcastle United fan, which started being interesting just in time for him moving away from the UK.

MAX WHITEHEAD

Consultant – Corporate Development, Financial Services

Max joined the corporate development team to lead mid and junior level searches in Financial Services, and has an excellent budding network within Wealth Management, Insurance/Broking, Fund Administration, and Corporate Trust Services.

Previous experience was in tax recruitment, and Max read International Business Management at Oxford Brookes University.

Max is an avid sports fan, and most weekends can be found at a live event – cricket, tennis, rugby are all favorites. Top of his list is a visit to Welford Road to watch his beloved Tigers.

HENRY LYNN

Consultant – Strategy & Transformation

Henry spent the last two years in Private Equity recruitment. He now specialises in truly understanding candidates’ profiles to ensure successful process outcomes. Henry works across our interim and permanent Strategy & Transformation practice partnering with private equity, listed and corporate businesses to deliver strategists, transformation leadership and program teams to deliver top line growth, cost out and restructuring initiatives.

Outside of work, Henry plays rugby on the weekends and runs during the week.

MARISA GISBERT

Finance & Commercial Operations Manager

My background is very entrepreneurial. I created my first business when I was 22 years old and I have incorporated my second one very recently. I have worked in a variety of sectors such as Recruitment, Fashion and Blockchain. Yes, Blockchain! Very futuristic indeed. Always helping businesses scale.

Outside work I am building my home decoration empire, I love spending time with my family and friends, but also playing pádel and meeting people all over the globe! I also practise yoga and I am a Real Madrid fan!

CORINNA TAYLOR

Office Manager/EA

Corinna has many years of experience in the global advertising world with roles including Training Director for EMEA and Global Conference Organiser. Before joining the PCR Team her roles included HR, Data Protection and Office Administration in the Education Sector. She joins the PCR Team as Office Manager, DPO and EA to Charles and Giles.

In her spare time Corinna can be found trawling old bookshops, independent bookshops, regular bookshops! She loves F1, the theatre, the cinema, live music, travelling, visiting family in Ireland, and most of all, spending time with her family.

JASMINE AGRES

Operations Executive

Jasmine joined the PCR Operations team in November 2023 as an Operations Executive. Prior to that, her previous roles included Knowledge and Administration in the search industry.

Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys travelling, participating in church activities, and is a foodie coffee lover, constantly on the lookout for the best food and cafes in London.

ANITA TANSLEY

Accounts Assistant

Anita joined the PCR Team in June 2022 as a Finance Assistant. Over the last 8 years she has held similar roles within the Education Sector, working in Finance, HR and Admin. This followed a career as a Senior Secretary for one of the top four banks.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys exercise classes, swimming and walking. Gardening is her time for relaxation.

CLAUDIA FUNG

Operations Assistant

After graduating from Stirling University with a BSc Management degree, Claudia embarked upon a Marketing career in retail for two years. In 2020, She joined Phipps Cameron as their Marketing Assistant to manage their website and social media.

Outside of work, Claudia enjoys travelling with her husband, socialising with friends over brunch and singing.
